13th Street calls this wine their “Premier Cuvee”, not surprising they would pick that name because they are one of the Premier sparkling houses in Ontario … and this is another very fine effort. The nose is a touch nutty with baked apple notes, on the palate it’s toasty and the nuttiness continues along with lemon zest and apple nuances. The best part is that this wine won’t leave you hanging around asking “what else?” Because it has a nice long lingering finish. Price: $29.95 – Rating: ****
