DeSimone’s first ever made and released Cabernet Sauvignon comes from their own estate vineyard. Barrel aged for 12 months in a 50/50 mix of both French and American oak barrels. The American adds that “sweetness” to the dark fruit (namely cherry) with notes of spiced vanilla and mocha – there’s a real smoothness to this wine that creates a pleasant linger on the finish.
