Fruit comes from 25 year old vines in the Wismer Homestead Vineyard; it spends 18 hours on skins and is aged for 6 months in second use 500L French barrels then goes through full malolactic fermentation … the result is a limited, 50 cases, production Sauvignon Blanc that retains a lovely balance of acidity along with spice, grapefruit cocktail and lime zest – all with a lovely long finish.  Price: $40.00 – Rating: ****
