Dan Sullivan makes some really solid Pinot Noir in his JCR Series - always has and it looks like he will continue to do so for another vintage. Aromas are floral, cherry- rhubarb and a little earthy. That floral continues on the palate, but also adds in strawberry and currants (both red and black) – it's really seductive with a sweet cherry entry, and through the mouth with it's delicate and delicious flowers and acidity / tannins mix that helps compliment the wine very well. Yet another winner from Rosehall, Dan Sullivan and the JCR vineyard; I feel I keep repeating this. Price: $45.00 – Rating: ****+
