I have long been a fan of Cahors Malbec; but those with structure - not the simple Argentinian kind - those built for the long haul. This is the opposite of the above, as it is meant to drink young (it's right there in the name, which means: Easy to Drink) - but I'd give it some time. Big bold and smoky with cherry and peppery notes. The tannins prove to be bold and yet there is a juiciness to the mid pallet. This is sophisticated. Malbec, with a little weight and power behind it.
