Creamy mid-palate with some spicy character on the finish … there’s also a little herbaceous note from the get-go, which takes advantage of its vanilla (whipped) cream too balance each other out. The finish shows off some lemon rind plus some pith and a subtle tangerine note. This wine is all over the place, but those places are pleasant and worth visiting.  (*** ½+)
