September 15, 2019 ... This rebellious Pinot Noir starts off a little harsh with both tannins and oak leading the charge on the palate and nose ... But as it continues to have oxygen added to it the fruit begins to emerge and things start coming into focus. At the hour mark things have evened out - there is a lovely freshness that has materialized and the wine has hit its stride. We decided to have pot roast for dinner and it turned out to be a good option. What also made this such a good dinner pairing was the great acidity and spice on the finish.
